Use id, manager_id, name and role columns. Leave the top-level manager ID empty.

What should I check?

The sample is a fictional team. Name an unfilled position explicitly, such as Open role.

What are its limits?

Each person or position has one manager. Matrix reporting lines are outside this tool’s scope.
